This item is the 刀子小刀(Tousu small knife) that was forged the blade by Hidetsugu Shimada for 刀子会(Tousu kai:the group that concreated by some custom knife makers,blacksmiths and swordsmiths etc. the office is Munemasa cutlery co.,Ltd）) for long time ago.

There were 3blades. 藤(Tou) group finished the work using one of the blades with a coral handle.

A twing of rainbow coral is so beautiful.it charms people to see it.

But,it is very weak at pressure,so it cannot withstand hard use.

I love using this knife and chopsticks as my dinner kit.(cut a steak into small pieces is very usuful.)

The sheath is finished with shark & ray (sting ray) and urushi.
